  • History & Use

    Gomphrena is an edible heirloom flower that has been used in herbal teas for its antioxidant properties and is a pollinator magnet in the field. It is native to Central America and introduced to the United States in the 1700s. It was a staple in Thomas Jefferson's gardens at Monticello.

  • Tips

    A hardy flower that holds up well to transport and should not require special care. To dry your blooms, hang them upside down out of drafts and direct sunlight.
